FUR.LY

Have you ever wanted to send your students a list of websites for them to check out ?
Is it annoying to watch them type each one in the URL one letter at at time?

USE FUR.LY

FUR.LY is SOOO easy to use.
You only need to know the addresses of the webpages you want to visit !!!

Here is a quick video tutorial on how it works

WHY WOULD I USE THIS?

1. Cut down on research time, by sending your students to the websites you want them to use for project.

2. Students can share different sites that they used for their research project in one place.

3. When presenting to other teachers/staff about a certain topic, have all of the resource sites on one link.

4. If you have websites that should be looked at in a certain order, you can create a list quickly

5. You can use this FUR.LY list over and over again, as long as you remember the link.

6. If you have several Google Documents you want to share with the students(rubrics, entry doc, etc) you can send them the link.

7. Create a list of different YouTube links that you need the students to watch before beginning something.

8. When adding websites you are sharing to Twitter or Facebook.  This will keep your number of characters short.

9. When teaching, already have the sites you want to visit ready to go, so that you can go quickly to the next site.
